This Privacy Notice explains how Pioo collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app. Pioo is designed as a private, local dream journal for recording dream notes, moods, clarity levels, keywords, calendar entries, and related history. We aim to keep your experience lightweight and private, and we do not provide dream interpretation, diagnosis, or advertising-based personalization.
By using Pioo, you acknowledge that some information is stored on your device and, where applicable, may be processed temporarily to provide app features such as saving entries, generating summaries, syncing app state across your own devices if enabled, or responding to support requests.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the app, legal requirements, or our data practices. When we make material changes, we will revise the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice within the app or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of Pioo after an update becomes effective means you accept the revised notice.
Pioo is intended for users who are 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we learn that a user under 17 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Pioo does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, biometric matching, or biometric analysis. We do not create face templates, facial embeddings, or similar biometric identifiers. If an image is temporarily processed for a local feature, it is used only to complete that feature and is deleted after processing unless you explicitly choose to keep the image as part of your own record.
Information you provide: You may enter dream descriptions, moods, clarity ratings, keywords, dates, notes, and other content you choose to save. You may also choose to add a local cover image from your device camera or photo library.
Automatically collected information: We may automatically collect limited technical information such as app version, device type, operating system version, crash diagnostics, performance data, and usage information necessary to keep the app functioning properly.
Cookies and similar technologies: Pioo is an app, not a website, and it does not use advertising cookies. However, the app may use local storage, app preferences, and similar technologies to remember your settings and support core functionality.
Depending on how the app and related services are operated, information may be processed in different countries or regions where our service providers or infrastructure are located. When cross-border processing occurs, we take reasonable steps to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
Any AI-related processing used by Pioo is handled on internal servers only. We do not send your content to third-party AI providers. Content processed for app features is used only for the requested operation, deleted after processing, and not used to train machine learning or AI models. We do not use your dream entries or related content for model training, evaluation, or improvement of external AI systems.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share user content for advertising, marketing, or unrelated commercial purposes. We may share limited information only with service providers or contractors who help us operate the app, maintain infrastructure, or provide support, and only under contractual obligations that require confidentiality and appropriate data protection. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
We use information to provide and improve Pioo’s features, including saving dream entries, displaying calendar history, showing keyword and mood trends, enabling local backups or exports where offered, and responding to support requests. We do not use your information for advertising, cross-app tracking, profiling for marketing purposes, selling personal information, or training AI models.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit where supported, secure storage practices, limited internal access, and monitoring for unusual activity. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep information only as long as necessary to provide the app and meet legal, operational, or support obligations.
You may delete content from the app at any time, subject to any legal retention requirements.
